Materials

  • Spunlace

Spunlace is a fabric made from fibers like polyester, cellulose, polypropylene, nylon, viscose, or cotton (e.g., Papersoft: 70% cellulose pulp, 30% polyester). Using water jets, the spunlace process entangles the fibers without chemicals, giving it a luxurious, fabric-like texture that sets it apart from competitors.

Lombardy

Lombardy is one of the northernmost regions of Italy. Home to Milan and one of the most prosperous areas of the country, it is known for being on the cutting edge of design. Its history can be traced back to the 2nd millennium BC, and ceramic artifacts from this time still exist today.

Q&A

Are these napkins disposable or is the fabric washable?
Our Papersoft Napkins are disposable and not washable. They are crafted out of spunlace which resembles cloth rather than paper, but they cannot be washed.
